Am I reading that right...763+ mph? The speed of sound is 761mph at sea level. So unless that had wings and an after burner, I'm guessing I read that wrong.

That's what I was thinking too when I saw the speed and name. Thanks for confirming.

I thought some RAF pilot had done something crazy. Never heard of Andy Green till now.

Yes, Andy Green. I was there when he did it I could see the shockwaves off the nose & heard the sonic boom.
