Wow, what a beauty! Talk about "slick"!
The tour will be the trip of a lifetime. We will all be waiting for the blow by blow coverage.
I can just see you & Charley waiting (hoping?) for the other to have a glitch so you can blast by at speed while laying on the horn!
Possibility of GG Street Machine & Early Truck of the year for you two? Wouldn't surprise me in the least.
Have a great HOF!

Honking?? NO!! One hand on the wheel -- while the other is flipping the goofball off......
I don't build anything for a "reward" or for a trophy -- or even for others to ooh and awe over..... I just like driving them!! I will consider it a total winner if Rudy and I have ZERO issues on the trip and we just get to enjoy the ride.
Lucky for me - the builder has a large stacker trailer and Mike Kaiser (shop foreman supreme) will be following the whole tour.... so I know there's expertise and tools available. I don't EVER expect these old POS to be trouble free.... they never are... but little stuff is easily tightened up on the road.
Mike has placed a spare STARTER (the issue I had last year with the '68 Corvette) - an Alternator - a fuel pump - belt - wheel bearings -- and a couple other parts in the little coffin in the bed..... so of course NONE of those things will be an issue whatsoever! LOL

Ah --- CHRA is trailering it from Austin to Salt Lake - I'm being a big shot and flying there (35 minute flight - LOL).... and we're headed east bound and down the following morning.
Just for fun - I mapped driving "home" (I'll be homeless by the end of the tour) and Scottsdale is nowhere near St George.... So maybe you and Anita just need to come over for dinner and we'll go blow up a new set of tires! No weight and 550hp ought to make that pretty easy....

I am so excited for you!
Looking forward of a picture of you driving it! The huge smile, and possible finger out the window will be priceless!
Dammit I wish I could see it in person, someday I hope!

If I live long enough -- I plan to put a lot of road miles on this little POS..... and Colorado would be a place high on my list of visiting. The Roadster shop chassis -- LS power - 6 speed auto -- good tunes -- should make for a sweet little driver. Simple and effective.
