For those of you who are still Ron Sutton fans..... and think I must make this S****** t up.... I just got these pics from Kurt Urban (Scoggins Dickey Race Shop).

Of course - if asked - Sutton would blame everyone else for the idiot stuff we’ve found on this car.

Remember that HE had his “wiz bang secret sauce optimized” tuner tune the engine while trackside via the telephone.... While I thought they (Sutton and crew) had a data logger and they were just making minor tweaks.... apparently all were clueless boobs.

The top picture is a temp sensor — Kurt says the melted Temp Sensor is a “first”...... meaning — things got pretty hot. Now mind you - the car could only run for 3 laps at a time.... so imagine the damage had it been able to run for a full 20 minutes! LOL

The second is the GASKET on the intake ports — also a first — they’re MELTED.....

And on to the Valve cover gasket — Sutton was told that these V/C’s would not work on the engine - but HE (sutton) insisted they would and refused to pay for the versions that were recommended.... As you can see - the gasket is split.... and apparently (too hard to photo and explain) was sucked in on other places.... GEE!! Maybe someone that knew better than mister “I’ve built 200 race cars” knew better??

Last picture is the newly completely rebuilt LS7 - now with a RHS block and different heads - V/C’s that will work.... and I’m certain that without ANY “Secret Sauce” will run and run and run.... and probably make more power as well. LOL What a joke that guy is!

I still think you should have brought the car just the way it was to SEMA and put it out for display. Maybe out by the trash dumpsters but still out for display for the world to see...
