Default Met The Legend!

I have met several "TV Personality" car guys over the years at various shows / Power Tour Events / whatnots, and for the most part, they seem not to interested in talking to the Av Joe.

I was lucky enough to run into Mark at the charlotte airport last week.
I saw a guy that I thought looked like him in passing, then did a double take a few minutes later and the guy had on a corvette racing jacket. I though that has to be him...

I though about going up and talking to him, but I figured he was busy with things to do. I decided just to go up to him and find out.
Man, he is the coolest, most down to earth car guy you could meet. He instantly stood up and shook my hand. I showed him some pics of my junk, inspired by him, and we small talked for a bit, then i had to go board my plane.

Nice to meet you Mark, and I hope see you again!!

Very nice to meet you also. Thanks for the kind words, your project looked great.

More updates. This is my favorite part of the build. Laying out the engine bay.

Not stock but a “factory” feel.

Love how the radiator overflow hides the goiter tank!

I'm surprised the battery isn't in the trunk... or is that an empty case?

Hi Mark,

Can you please elaborate on the fan? It looks like a 6th Gen Camaro 850 watt fan, but with a custom shroud...More information would be appreciated.

Andrew
