The scrub radius is really good on their front ends. So For all intensive purposes of most people who will buy it. You don't need power steering. My car has a 17x9 with 6" of back space. I might go a bit more to improve the scrub radius. Power steering would help but I'm sure not to many people slide Chris's stuff around a road course. I mean heck the inner fenders woun't come close to clearing and decent tires. The fire wall tubs almost hit the tires too. I might redo those a little taller.

I'm figuring that I will have to cut up the floor even more. i have had to cut out quite bit already. I know the tunnel will ahve to be raised for the driveshaft. So I might just go all the way. I was hoping to build something to out run my 03 mustang GT with a maximum motorsports grip box kit on away @ buttonwillow. But we shall see, I originally was building the car to sell and like everything I fell in love with it. So I thought I might as well make it haul ass. The Ls1 should fit fine with stock brackets if it make new brackets for the motor mounts and not use the conversion mounts. This way I can run the stock AC and stuff to keep the cost down.

The rear clip will easily clear 335/30/18's.

Man I have alot going on. The C6-57 truck is still progressing and my nova is getting a new power plant. I bought 3 ls1's and and few 5.3's for mine and some customer projects. I also working on putting a 5.3 with a 4L65E trans and tarnsfer case in to my Landcruier. Along witha bunch of stuff going on inthe shop like Novanutcases ZO6 nova. That thing is gonna be cool....

Default nova

It's a nice ride, no doubt about it. I'm anxious to see it when close to complete. I assume you had to cut the rear floor out to accomodate the sub frame?
