Hey Anthony the car looks killer and the stance is right on the money!!!!! I must say the new corvette blue is totally wild and would be perfect on your car in my opinion.
Keep plugging away!!!

Looks great Tony, congrats on a job well done! I think the last time I saw it in person you still had your Intro's - man I need to get back over there! FWIW, I think blue's a great choice. Let me know if you need help with anything.

Anthony...the stance on that car made the hair on the back of my neck stand up. I also couldn't feel my lower extremities for about 5 minutes. That is gonna be one mean looking car.

Oh...and the fact that '68 Camaros rule doesn't hurt either.

Yes they do!! Thanks for the kind words!

I just came in from working on the subframe. Over the weekend I welded the seams solid and notched the frame for the ac compressor...just days away from puting some color on it!! My plan is to detail it pretty well but not too smooth as the car has the tuffer feel to it. I'm just going to clean up the welds but not loose them.

Once the frame is painted I have to haul ass on the bottom of the car and get it into paint...but it's almost primer ready as it sits...wish me luck, July is just around the bend and I'm loosing about a week due to taking Jen out of town for our anniversary.

Thanks again guys for all the kind words!!

It's been 5.5 years to get this far...time is very limited, but I work on it when I can! I'll attach some torn down pics from today as well as some from the other day to show how mocked up it really was. The SF is torn down now as well and ready to be sand blasted.

Also, I talked to a engine builder last week and the LT1 will be going in soon for machine work and bottom end assembly with all the new forged parts and blower pistons. Meanwhile the heads will go in for porting. Things are finally moving forward!! Just had to share!!

I've heard of Loyd and will check into it. Jody recommended using CFM Performance as he has had great luck with a few projects.

Default Lloyd Elliot

Anthony,

I have heard lots of good things about Lloyd Elliot lately. A friend of mine who owns an LT1 powered 69 Camaro said I should look him up on the net when I'm ready to do something serious with my LT1 and I also noticed tonight that Goleen (specializes in LT1's) is now using LE heads on their builds. (if this helps at all). Very cool car...I expect mine will NEVER be as nice!
