Default Question on purchase

Hey guys, I'm new and have been lurking for about a month. I am closing a deal for a 1968 camaro next week. I was just curious if you could give a HP estimate for this setup. I'm very new to the game and was wondering what brake conversion is suggested for around $1200. I plan on moving to a 17 or 18 in (maybe 19 unlikely) wheel down the road. Will an 11 inch Baer disk brake have enough stopping power

Thanks in advance.
