first blower install

Im helping my brother with his first blower install on a 355 chevy
7:1 compression motor
is there any resources for doing this?
anything to check for etc?
this is my first as well as his so any good info is apprieciated.
he has a 6-71 with dual demon 600cfm blower motor carbs.
MSD BTM 6 ignition box
with boost control knob.
Ill get some pics soon.
