Engine buying advise

Starting laying out the plans for my trip to the states in November I would like to ask you Californians here. Do you know a good place where to buy a used 98-02 LS1/T56 package?

I have seen a few places on eBay but they are on the east coast. I have a shipping connection in LA that sends containers to Sweden. I can get this stuff in there for a very low cost.

What I am looking for is a complete setup with all accessories and of course the computer and harness.
