Default Need First Gen Camaro help

We are redoing a 69 Convertible and I need some input from you Camaro owners.

We can not get the glass to fit AT all, when the car arrived it had huge gaps between the glass and the top.

There is about a 3/4" gap all along the top of the door and rear glass. The rear glass fits tight into the side of the weather strip but does not fit close to the door glass. There is about a 5/8 gap on the door glass at the bottom and about 3/16 at the top. The door glass has been "ground" in place and the rear side had a section cut off it looks like.

My questions are

1. Is the coupe and convertible different glass ? If was coupe glass would it cause these issues ?

2. Is the 67/68 different from a 69 ? Cause same issues ?

I wanted to get a perspective on this before we go replacing glass.

Would the wrong regulators cause any of these issues ?

We have spent alot of time trying to adjust these things, but there just isn't enough room to adjust it that much.

Thoughts ?

Also, how is this moulding supposed to fit as well as the door and fender ? I would assume at the same height.....

Thanks
