Default Correct way to cut a coil spring?

What and where is the best way to cut the rear coils for 2-2.5" of drop from a 1" drop spring?
Im going to run a Eibach pro kit on a 66 chevelle, this has a 1" drop in the back from the start.

THANK YOU
JOHN R
