Default My new gauge pod (68 Camaro)

I know not everyone will like this, but thought I would throw it out there for discussion.

My 68 is getting some interesting customisations, most pretty standard (shaved rails, side markets, firewall, door handles, smoothed all over, mini-tubbed, AME front clip, billet everywhere etc etc).

However the interior is also getting a make over with:
Full custom console running from custom full metal dash right throuh to rear parcel shelf. Full metal hood liner made out of a new hood skin (that gets welded in next week).

And a new dashpod. I wanted something different, something that you don't see everyday. The car will be smooth inside. You will not see ANY switches (they are all hidden, everythig inc window switches, ignition, lights, air-con the lot). Even the trans shifter is hidden (using a push button Retrotek model like in Alimitub).

So all that is visible is the steering wheel and dashpod (plus 4 cream leather seats and lots of candy yellow painted metal).

Here is the Dash pod, now welded in.

2 Dakota Digital guages, I love the set back and the offset, gives it real depth.

Thoughts ? I suspect it will be a love em or hate em....
