Default Tricks or Ideas on how to remove glue from interior floor?

I am stipping out the interior of Penny becasue I am anal like that and want to do it the right way.. the interior will end up looking almost exactly the same but I like to make sure everything is sealed up right and the right sound deadner is used..

Previous owner used some sort of spray adhesive (3M) to glue the foil backed jute to the floor of Penny. I want to clean it all off so I can coat it in POR-15 and then dynamat the whole deal.

Anything good for dissolving the glue? I was thinking some sort of paint stripper and a scraper..

Ideas and "tricks" would be appreciated!

On a side note the floors look great considering they are almost 40 years old.. Also funny that I found pennies glued to the floor to cover up some screw holes. guess I named the car right!

Thanks!
