Default New Guy -- the other project (66 Chevelle SS)

I just joined the net with an intro of my road race car. My second project (not too far along) is a 66 Chevelle SS: 325 H.P., 4-speed, no power/no air. It is a project someone else started, so I have to go back and do the suspension and drivetrain mods. I just got a 67 El Camino frame and I am removing the factory box sections so I can add them to the Chevelle (stitch welded at the factory locations). The original 396 is already .060 over, so I will "pickle" it and install an older, but fresh 427 that I have lying around. Other than the engine and planned suspension/brake mods, I will return the car to its former, stock-appearing glory.
