Default So, my car isnt anything like others here....

.. but hopefully some can appreciate it?

Doesnt really matter either way, I love the cars I see on this website/forums, so I'm just here to introduce myself!

I'm from Canberra, Australia, and I am 23 years old.

This is my car. Bought it when I was 17 for AU$2000 (cheap!!).
Always wanted one. They are a bit of a cult car over here if you dont know anything about them. Mainly because of how cheaply you can modify them, mechanically. Basically, a LOT of Holden and Nissan parts fit. They fall under both the Skyline and Commodore aftermarket .... IE, huuuuge here!

Make: Holden
Model: Berlina
Designation: VL
Year: 1987
Weight: 1270kg/2800lbs
Power: Only a guess as its never been Dyno'd, but definitly around 200-220kw (270-300hp)
Engine: Nissan RB25det
Gearbox: 4 speed slushbox
Front Brakes: original = 270mm/10.5" disc, single piston | new = 330mm/13" discs, twin piston
Rear Brakes: original = drums | new = 270mm/10.5" disc, single piston
Diff: LSD, 4.11 final ratio
Exhaust: 2.5" Turbo-back
Suspension: Pedders 'sports' springs and shocks. About 2 inches lower than stock
Wheels: 2004 Holden Commodore Storm Ute 17s, 8" wide
Other Visual: 1987 Holden Calais 'pop-up eyelids'. White globes. Not much there!
Inside: Cheap wood-grain steering wheel. Alpine DVD deck, 2 Alpine 6"s in the front doors and 2 in the rear parcel shelf, Alpine MRP350 Amplifier, 2 Alpine type S 12" subwoofers, remote central locking
Other: Large front mount intercooler

Future mods: RESPRAY!!! + new bumpers and rubbers, Needs it BAD! Then just injectors, fuel pump, some basics, and I will probably leave it at that I hope!

Then one day I can move onto something I've wanted for ages! Either a C3 Corvette, a DeLorean DMC12, or a 1971 Holden HQ Monaro.

I also own a 2004 Ford Falcon BA XLS Ute, which I use for work and daily driving, which you will see in a pic or 2 below:

Also, it has quite a nice sound IMO!

Also, yes, I realize how hard I revved it there. My stock gauges are about 2000rpm below the true red-line for an RB25det.

This is my Ford:

Thanks guys, looking forward to getting to know some of you people a bit better!
Major talent here!! Excellent taste aswell!
