Default Went to the chassis dyno today, awesome results

Went to the chassis dyno today to get the new PMS and Abaco meter tuned to my combo. I absolutely love this new 97mm Abaco MAF. Driveability is light years ahead of the old chip and LMAF I had. No stalling, no hitching at low RPM. It pulls in 5th now, feels like a stocker now.

I didn't get the boost tables built into the PMS, I was waiting for my tuner to help me on that part.

This spring I had the heads rebuilt by Steve Coil in Mchenry, Illinois with new springs and guides along with a 3 angle valve job. I did my own bowl blending and port matching to the new (to me) Holley Systemax intake. Used the same 42 pound injectors and SN95 fuel rails.

A few years ago the car made 472 RWHP @ 18 degrees total timing, right at 6k.
Boost was 12.8 total.

Still running a stock block with forged pistons (.030 over) and stock crank and rods.

Mike Post from DynotuneMP.com helped me get the PMS up and running so I could get to his dyno facility in Sycamore, Illinois. He had a few cars in there already in front of me. It was cool to watch the procedures for tuning on the other cars.

It only took 3 pulls to get the car up to speed. We had almost 20 HP more just on the same basic tune from the chip before. The new meter does not peg like the LMAF and allowed a much broader range of tuning.

The 491hp number in the blue line was with 18 degrees total and a real stable 11.8ish AFR. I basically begged him to see a number over 500, so we added 1 more degree and saw the 505.57 number. Over 461 rwtq. I am totally stoked now. The car makes 600 flywheel horsepower using a 20% loss. Drove it home 35 miles with no issues.
Somehow, the car makes more boost now than last year @ 13.3 to 13.7 lbs.

Going to the track next Sunday for some 11 second slips!!!
