Default TKO 500 Gear Advice

TKO 500 Gear Advice.

Hello Everyone,

I have a TKO 500 and I'm looking into doing a gear change. Currently I run a 26.1 tall tire with a 3.23, I'm looking to go to a 3.55 , first is going to become short but I'm looking to get more pick up in 4th. It's a Mopar with a stroked 383 (496 now) and its out of breath by 5500 rpm but its a torque monster. Do you think the 3.55's is the right move?

Wish I could find a half point between 3.55 and 3.23, 3.42 would work the best but no such size for a 8.75 Chrysler rear.

Here's a trany/gear calculator I like to use:

Any Idea's? I might have to go with a taller tier.
