C5/C6 Brakes

Just wanted to know if anyone has used the C5 or C6 front calipers for the rears?? I'm sure that the ones that match the front would be fine with what I'm going to use the car for but I have a line on 4 of the fronts so thought what the heck I would see what the brake gods thought. I will be using stock F body drum spindles with Kore adapters (may upgrade to ATS AFX spindles). I am going to call Tobin at Kore to see what he thinks. I want to have the same size rotors front and rear also. I want to machine off the Corvette logo and then have them powder coated or hard coated. Thoughts, ideas, tell me I'm crazy??
