Default Welding Helmet

welp, right at the start of a quick job the other night my cheapo auto darkening helmet finally gave up the ghost... I was wondering why I was seeing spots after my first tack weld...
Anyway, are there recommendations out there for an affordable quality auto darkening helmet? something with a decent field of view and adjustable shades of 8-12 or similar? I'm hoping sub $150 if that seems reasonable.
I figure I could get a lincoln or miller to stick with a recognizable name brand, but I suspect there are others out there that I'm just not familiar with that will work well.

Thanks,
