I'm already in this car pretty deep financially so I want a bulletproof clutch but just like anyone else I don't want to spend any more than necessary but I don't want the price to determine the choice either. I will keep updates and start a build thread once I get the car back from DSE and I start my portion of the build.
I get it. You're going for the win. Car looks killer, BTW.

It's a long (expensive) road your travelling. These compeitiors are very very fast and they've been doing it for years. They show up w 200 TW race cars - lexan, carbon fiber, no interior, Jerico transmissions (Dave), dry sumps and more. To get within a .5 sec is a major accomplishment.

You could very well be a fantastic, experienced driver which would put you right up there but some of these guys have years of experience on you and VERY deep pockets. From what I see on DSE's site, your car somewhat resembles a street car. Getting into an arms race right out of the gate may be an expensive lesson - and I'll bet there's a phase 2,3, and 4 on your car to shave off those last 10ths.

If it were me (it's not) I'd still go RXT w an alum lightweight flywheel and save a few G$ now. You can tune your car with it, see how much you enjoy the competition, and then sell it used to step up. Plus sooner or later budget could be an issue, right?

Anyway whatever you do more power to you. I'll be cheering for you no matter what clutch you buy. GL!

Edit: Trailers are allowed!
