This is a big undertaking... not financially (for me), but in terms of use. I have a large driveway and parking area for it... so I don't have to store it somewhere else. But this thing is a class 8 truck - and at 75' it's longer than your average truck... so that means you're not filing it at the local Chevron... and there's roads you can't drive on - and bridges you can't go under... and on and on. What I'm hoping for is that it's not so much hassle that it isn't worth the effort.

I have a large bucket list of shows I'd like to go to... and places I'd like to see... and with both Gwen and I retired now... I'd like to just take off and go to them. I want to sleep in my own bed - and eat my own cooking etc. I'm just hoping the learning curve isn't too steep!

I just hope Charley gets the driveway widened out before September... but I guess I can stop out on the road and pick up his '66... and a Busch car... so when he flies into Bakertucky for Buttonwillow, he'll have something to drive.
