Default Matching gauge to sending unit(ohms)

I've got a 240-33 ohm SW gauge I'm trying to use with a 0-90 ohm sending unit, so the way the gauge acts is backwards and out of range.....anyone have any suggestions on how to make this work right? Of course SW doesn't sell the style gauge I have in 0-90, and I really don't want to put their sending unit in my Ricks Stainless tank as their sending unit is really trick.

Only thing I can think of is to buy a 0-90 SW in the style I don't want, and transplant the internals into my gauge. SW tech support was no help, and Ricks Stainless Tanks hasn't replied to my email...

TIA,

Adam
