Default 1955 Chevy Pro Touring- QUALITY

This is my dad's 55 Chevy he has had for about 6yrs. It was an original paint, original body panel car before we started on it. Completely rust free car that turned out super. The car was finished the week before the 2010 Power Tour. The car has been rotisserie restored and the bottom of the car is yellow and has been wet sanded and buffed. The frame was smoothed from front to back and painted with Sikkens Rally Black. The frame is a completely smoothed, boxed in, pocketed springs, etc with over 200hrs in the frame. The car has a 502 aluminum head, forged internals, ross pistons, eagle crank with a Keisler Tremec 5speed, vintage air, power windows. The car has been mini-tubbed and has Schott wheels with 345 Nitto Invos. I have pics of the entire build including when we got the car as a driver with original paint. The paint and bodywork is flawless and all the stainless is perfect and plating was done by Advance Plating. Car has the smoothie bumpers. David Rongey painted the car at Rongeys Restorations, he actually just had a red 55 chevrolet make the Great 8 in Detroit. Its called the ZL55 and you can see pics of it on Recovery Rooms facebook as they did the interior to see the quality of paint work he does. This interior was done by Pro Auto Interiors (Steve Holcomb $20k), has 2005 GTO seats and custom rear buckets and is extremely comfortable. The car hits the road really well and has the best parts available with tubular suspension, 4wheel disc, etc. Over 100k spent on this car not counting the original cost of $20k for the car. Dad would consider a trade on the car anything from a newer vette to an older musclecar. We have several cars and enjoy about anything that is nice and fast. Dad was offered $100k for the car 2yrs ago when it was first finished but didnt think he ever wanted to sell it but now just wants something new. Price is $85k. I know that I have left a lot out I am sure. If you need pics of anything let me know as I have a disc with 400pics on it from the photoshoot for Super Chevy and Tri Five magazines that the car will be featured in the coming months. Any questions call 423-596-5094 Thanks Jonathan.
