FWIW - I just installed a new ASUS RT-N65U Dual-band Wireless-N750 Gigabit Router in the house last night. http://www.amazon.com/Black-Diamond-.../dp/B008OUKZZI

I didn't think I'd notice a big difference over the older D-Link router.......wrong! This thing rocks! Web browser speed increase is definitely noticeable and my son was darn near frothing telling me how much faster it is with the Xbox live games.

Range also appears to be impressive as the theater room is down the hall and over the garage and it pins the reception meter at 4 bars on the Xbox which was previously at 2-3 bars.

Just for entertainment value and security I changed the network name from our last name to: "DHS Mobile Surveil2" That might get the neighbors attention.
