Default Transgo shift kit almost finished 4L60E

Some of you might remember I have had some strange shifting problems with my 69 LS1 camaro. It is either an issue of some needed mods to the trans which is bone stock other that the 2,800 stall, or some input info errors...like the speed signal dropping out or having noise in it.

Long story short, the first thing to do was install a shift kit. The transgo came highly suggested for this application. It comes with a video and about 6 pages of instructions that are mostly pictures (the kind I like).

I am not comfortable working on auto transmissions, so this is a big deal for me to do the kit. So far so good. I am ready to reassemble. Once it is in I have to have the computer reprogramed as it currently has requests that would cause the shift to be too extreme and actually needs to be tweaked back more stock.

So...it should be together mid week, but he PCM tuning will take another week or two before I know the results.

I am shooting to drop in the 7s in the 1/8th mile with proper shifting.
