Default 1969 C10 rearend swap

Anyone changed out the stock rear end for a later model rear end?? What will work? Would like to change out the stock 6 lug, drum brake rear end that has the trailing arms and coil springs, to a 5 on 4-3/4 or a 5 on 5 with a disc brake set up. The rear end width looks like its about 61" axle flange to axle flange. Son's first truck so not looking to have one built!

Thanks for any help you guys can provide!
