Trunk mounted battery question

Guy's going to be mounting my battery in the trunk of my 69 camaro in a few days and had a quick question, what do most of you run your positive to, I mean i no it goes to the starter but what actually do you use, do you use like a bulk head connector and then run to the starter, i guess im saying like a junction box or something where your able to use this if you need my power for different things, i hope i made since.
