Default Remote shock canister mounting

Since several of you are, I believe, running the Ridetech triple-adjustable or similar shocks which have a remote canister, I'm curious as to where you are mounting those canisters on the rear of your vehicle? I'm considering a change to a set which will have a canister to mount, and I don't know where to put it. The seemingly obvious place is in the trunk, but unless I'm mistaken, that means drilling a couple of 3" or so holes to pass the canister through. There aren't any quikc-disconnect type fittings on those canister hoses, correct?

How have you guys dealt with this?

There just isn't a good place under my car for them, at least not one where I could get to it to change the settings without getting the car in the air. SO trunk mount would certainly make that part easier. And I have the rear downbars from my rollbar in the perfect spot for mounting them.

Suggestions? Thoughts?
