Try loosening the bolts that attach the arms to the Musclebar, get the arms parallel with each other and retighten. There isn't much play in them when they are loose, but a little difference at the bolts is a lot at the end of the arms. Another thing you can do is take the bar out and install the arms on a flat surface. When you install the arms on a flat surface you know they are parallel with each other.
