Default 1964 Fairlane- Smith Hot Rods

I have been searching for years for a '64 Fairlane post sedan and finally found one I could not live without. I found this car cruising Craigslist one night and was on a plane heading to Spokane days later to seal the deal. This car is unreal. It was bought an owned by the same guy for 49 years and only has 41k miles on the clock. Its an original paint car with a 260/auto./8 inch combo. It runs and drives so well, it'll almost be a shame to rip it apart and give it teeth..............but what fun would that be?

Plans:

-Thunderbolt-esque outer look - tear drop hood, glass bumpers, and screened off inner lamps etc.
-Will probably be either black with gold accents or Super Sonic blue with matte gray accents
-Rod and Custom Motorsports front suspension- QA1 coil overs, Wilwood brakes, manual rack, sway bar
- molded engine bay- smooth firewall
- wheels are undecided but will be 17s for street parties and Sander 3 piece wheels for strip duty
- 9 inch with all the Caltrac gear-4.10s or 4.33s,aluminum chunk, locker
-cage will be a jungle gym and head into the engine bay to the radiator support
- new Ford Racing Boss 302 block, Eagle 4340 347 stroker, CHI 3v CNC'd 208s, Daugherty Racing Cam, CHI intake, Jesel rockers, 850 billet Holley by me, al MSD juice and a Digital 6, Blue Thunder valve covers, Compression will be 13:1 and will run on E85.
-Magnum T56, alloy flywheel, Mcleod Street Twin or Centerforce Dual Friction
- aluminum driveshaft with 1350s

My goal is to land somewhere around 2600 lbs and run 10.50s on MT 275 drag radials. This car is pretty light and should be very crisp with 600 HP. Here we go again right?!
