I wanted something a little more cool for a lower valance than what Ford had. While surfing pictures here on Lat G one day I saw a photo down low of someones 69 Camaro, and I thought the front valance had a cool look. I like the driving lights aspect and also thought that the V peak up the center matched perfect with the bumper and hood line.

So I bolted my Maverick valance down on a work table to keep its shape. In the can time I had purchased the 3 pieces for the 69 valance. I cut all the pieces up and welded everything together to make one part.

As you see here the only thing left of the Maverick valance is the wheel opening area and where it bolts up to the bottom of the fender.

This is how bad the bumpers fit from Ford. I did decide to tuck them in, but admit I didn't go to the extremes some of you guys do. I just wanted a tighter fit that I think the factory should have done…..

The bumpers have since been sent out to Advanced Chrome for their perfect work.
