Default Weatherstripping questions

Hi All,

I just ordered some weatherstripping as the stuff on my doors and windows is deteriorated to the point that it needs to be replaced. I'm not much on getting this all adjusted properly and installed so I found a local body man who works on some classics to do it for me.

Besides the kit for the actual weatherstripping (I bought one around the $250 price point that includes trunk rubber) are there some other bits I should order in preparation. Some stuff on the inside of the door or window guides or anything?

I just want to make sure it doesn't sit at the guys shop waiting for parts for too long.

I'd do this my self but with all the adjusting necessary and my lack of patience with body work and gaps in general, I figured I'd pay a professional to do it.

P.S. I noticed that my window glass has a pretty large gap between it and the wiper on the outside of the door as well. From what I've read this could be due to aftermarket glass?

Thanks!
