It seems like it's been forever since I've posted up anything on my car. So it just so happens that it's almost been that long. Shortly after my last update post about the car something called life accompanied by his second cousin crappy luck the car got put on hold. So after a few years of ain't know telling how many people (locally) asking me when you going to finish your car or what you want or are you ready to sell it yet. I DON'T THINK SO!!! I ain't no quitter! Ok now that's off my chest. The car got put in storage for a while. Now it's being revisited and updated with some more modern goodies. Today I ordered a four link rear setup from Matt at MCB. He was very knowledgeable and helped me out with some different options that I was considering. THANK YOU very much Matt! So plans are now to ditch the leaf spring setup and replace with the RideTech four link setup and keep the nine inch rearend. The near future plans for the front is to keep the factory subframe and replace the narrowed tubular A-arms with two inch drop spindles with wilwood brakes. That will be replaced with RideTech front tubular A-arms, Spindle and Tru-Turn steering. Then the plans are to update the brakes. After all that is done and it's back on the ground the big block will be coming out and be replaced with a LS power plant and as far as a transmission goes I'm still thinking about that one. Trying to decide between a 5 or 6 speed or a 6L80E. So anyways enough for now I guess and glad to be back and looking forward to NO set backs this time around. Full steam ahead!
