There has been some progress and hoping for some more this weekend.

Mounted the master cylinders on the new firewall and starting building the plan (and parts list) to get the brake lines completed.



Decided that building the brake lines on the rearend would be easier if it was out of the car, and have to pull it out anyway to change the gears out.

Crazy how dusty it's gotten over the years and travels from shop to shop.





I wiped down the housing and prepared it for the rear brake installation


Brakes installed on both sides. This took some doing as I had lost the installation instructions, Tobin at Kore3 has since emailed them to me, so I will re-verify everything when I do final installation after the gear change this weekend.



Glad the wheel fits as I hadn't checked this previously. I was sure it would as the templates for the calipers had been sent to Forgeline when we spec'd the wheels.





While this was going on, I sold my old dash as it was going to cost more to fix it for a racepak, than to just buy a new one and sell the old one.

I will fill this with racepak and a/c vent(s) and a controller for the a/c and the various buttons/switches for the car.

This weekend I will be installing the new ring gear in the rearend (3.50 to replace the 4.10). I will be installing the brake lines on the housing, assuming the tee fitting required arrives tomorrow (on time). The rearend will be put back under the car and secured for the final time!

I'm sure that will take me through this weekend, but if it doesn't, the car will be going back up on the cribs and I'll start working on the remaining brake lines.

One thought I've been kicking around, is about using a non-A/C dash with the vintage air unit and putting two vents on the dash. I'd be stealing a vent from my passenger, but i think they'll still be ok with one on the passenger side. What are your thoughts on this?
