Default Issues with American Powertrain hyd clutch

I installed a hydraulic clutch in an '69 Dart. It already had the TKO 5 speed in it. The clutch will not release until the pedal is all the way on the floor. This makes it hard to shift even under normal cruising conditions.

I did their measurements and came up with needing one shim (.060) between the collar and the TO bearing retainer. Is this my issue? Does it need more shims? I am using the stock bellhousing also. The pedal has great feel and isn't too stiff.

Any help would be appreciated.

Chris
