55 Chevy 210 build start to finish...built my way/////

I've been around a while but mostly lurking although I thought I had a thread started, can't find it.

Anyway, finishing up my 55 Chevy project. I've made a few shake down runs, first time on the street since 1972!!! That was before I was born!

Was a drag car for many years until being retired due to the frame becoming to weak from rust at the front of the rear leaf spring perchs. As well as floor rust and other areas.

I started on the car after selling my Pro Tour 70 Chevelle back in 2011. Still miss that car but have enjoyed building the 55. I had a vision for the 55 which I turned into the rendering which is my Avatar pic. The final look of the car is pretty close to that with just a few adjustments. I'm happy with the outcome...probably a little different than most 55's you've seen but I wanted it to stand out a bit but still have the sinister look these cars are known for.
