Now that you put a 2.45 on and the ported snout with the 102, have you considered upgrading the lid, intercooler, lines, and pump to control IAT2's? Possibly an ice tank for track days? I've only done one HPDE day, and a couple sessions at Atco, but my cooling mods are probably one of the smarter things I did. Getting the cooling system bled can be a pita, as can be the intercooling circuit, as you've had the displeasure of dealing with.
While you had the front apart, did you change the oil pump, or install the Katech C7 chain set? Who did your porting? From my little experience with this engine, controlling intake temps and heat soak are huge to overall temps.

Thanks.
I have considered installing a reinforced brick in the lid, but I cannot upgrade the lid as the ZL1 will not fit without cutting a big hole in the hood.
The pump, front mount intercooler, lines and tank are all upsized from the stock CTSV stuff so I should be ok there.
I have not considered an ice tank as that seems like its geared far more towards drag racing than what I am doing. Keeping ice in the tank while doing autocross just doesnt seem feasible.
I did install a new timing chain set a year ago when I put the motor together as well as a new Melling oil pump. I didnt go crazy on the timing setup as I dont really plan on spinning it to the moon. I have the rev limiter set at 6200 currently.
