Default Composite spring failure. Summit 2” drop spring swap

**EDIT*** - This was a FAIL. The Lakewood bars will NOT work with these drop springs. This may be a combo of how my pinion angle/pads were welded to the 9" as well. Even with the shim kit (talked to the tech guy this morning) - it won't work.

So....the Vette Brake spring did fail which I believe was related to the center bonded on pads going away and allowing it to wiggle - but I'll be updating this and the youtube video I made.*******

The vette brakes and products fiberglass springs had an odd failure. They are older and the mounting pads dry rotted away allowing them to shift and snap the center pin. They are out of business now. I thought about the ride tech composite springs but $800 was out of the budget.

I swapped in some summit 2” drops.

They are about 3/8” or so lower that it was.

Also I put on some Lakewood traction bars.

Not happy with how they sit.

Made a video.

I’m glad I didn’t sell it to anyone as the fuel pump, springs, and now master cylinder have all gone out in a couple of months.
