Talking 4 door 64 Chevelle protouring wannabe

Been lurking for quite some time, figure it's time to say Howdy.

Purchased a 64 more door 5 years ago and have steadily put time and finances into it trying to get it to do what I ask of it. It came with a 6060 paint job, 80's 305 with V6 powerglide, trashed interior, and a LOT of junk in the trunk.

So far it's a pretty fun swiss army knife of a car. It somewhat turns, somewhat looks ok at car shows, and somewhat does ok at the dragstrip.

I would love to open the taps and drain my accounts to make this into something remarkable, but so far it's been ducking the female finance committee radar buying used, junkyard, and inexpensive things for it.

Car has an LQ4 6.0L LS swap out of a u-haul box truck, used factory silverado wiring harness and underhood fuse box. Have done all the wiring and tuning myself, even has cruise control, felt like Christine first time I turned it on in that old jalopy.

Added cam, springs, LS6 intake, flex fuel injectors, and big headers. T56 came out of an 05 GTO, have an aluminum driveshaft out of a crown vic interceptor police car, factory 10 bolt w/ 3.73s and eaton posi. Also added hydroboost brake setup.

I started out rebuilding the stock suspension with all new components to see what the car was before putting better parts to it. I did install a quick ratio steering box out of a ZQ8 S10 while doing so. Drove the car everywhere, even made it down to Atlanta (6 hr drive) and wallered around the Summit Autorama autocross with 205/60/14s back in April 2019. Made it into lateral-g magazine doing it!

They had plenty of time to get a great shot of the factory positive camber as it was slow as hell, even had people enthusiastically clapping as I got off the track for the faster cars..

Since then I've upgraded front and rear suspension, sway bars, added frame braces, LS1 brake setup, 00 Camaro SS wheels, and freshened up the interior.
