Wanted: Sales Manager

5+ years sales experience with a minimum of 3 years in the automotive aftermarket. Must have a sales driven personality and be a results oriented individual with a demonstrated track record of establishing and achieving sales goals. Must possess departmental management skills and have budgeting experience. Must be able to direct multiple sales and marketing personnel and be a team oriented individual. Must possess strong presentation and interpersonal skills.

Establish yearly sales goals for all sales area. Achieve performance to plan of company wide sales goals. Establish yearly sales strategies. Achieve performance to plan of sales strategies. Manage entire sales department. Research new product/market opportunities in order to achieve yearly business growth. Create sales plans by product area.


Ability to maintain strong verbal and written communication with other employees. Well organized with the ability to conduct weekly status reports Must be literate in Microsoft Excel, Word, and normal required programs to effectively provide written plans. Strong analytical and communication skills with the management team.

Maintain a strong “sense of urgency” when develop guidelines and the scope of business. Work within teams and on special projects to effectively solve problems while promoting a cooperative working relationship with all functional groups.

Have ability to demonstrate how sales programs will impact financial results. Outstanding leadership ability to set high but reachable goals, clearly communicate those goals to employees then infuse the team with a sense of purpose and urgency in attainment of those goals.
