Which manual trans with BIG power?

First, it depends on the year and model of vehicle the T56 came out of. Any of the 98+ t56 trans will be stronger then all the overdrive transmissions listed, especially if you upgrade the output shaft.

Second, the only thing that breaks from to much power is the output shaft. The 3 rd gear and 5 gear will be a time bomb at the 1000 rwhp level.

What broke on the trans you know of?

oh i woulda thought the tremec would hold more power than a stock t56. Im not exactly sure, a lot of people on my local f body board have had problems with theres, ill have to see what eactly breaks.
