Hadn't seen this post before, but yep, it's true. Ty and I struck a deal that made us both happy, although I must say, as the truck is arriving tomorrow to ship it out, I'm more sad than happy at this point. I love this car, but with all that is going on with the business, and too many other projects in the pipeline, well, something had to give. Fortunately, Ty is a TERRIFIC guy that I can truly call a friend. He is one of the most interesting and intelligent individuals I have met, while being as down to earth as you can imagine. Honestly, Ty has done more in life than a good number of us have put together, he has some pretty fascinating stories and a wealth of insight as to how the world works. Made the decision on my end a lot easier to make.
Ironically, some of the things that I am doing to the car for Ty are things that I would have wanted to do for myself had I ended up keeping it. The new seats are better than you can imagine, I had installed Cobra racing seats for track duty, but as busy as things have gotten I don't have as much time to spend on track, and they really stunk for the street. The Recaros are amazing, period, if you have the means to get a set, you'll think the same. At the same time I installed the Cobra's, I pulled the Hydroboost unit out and went with manual brakes. Never again, now that the boost unit is back in the car, I remember what it feels like to stop on the street without panic. A race car is not a street car, and driving one on the street is not what I call enjoyable at my age. The rear bits are our current pieces, function is the same, but execution is a lot nicer than the prototype pieces that started the whole darned 3-Link thing.
I can usually say that a "car" is just a "car," but not this one. I'm going to be having serious withdrawal symptoms until my next project is on the road!!!

P.S. Hey 'maz, we still have a system for you!
