Making some serious progress. Between the colors you mentioned, definately some sort of candy red. This car may be a good example of what you are looking at.

Looking good! One of my next street car builds will be a 69 or 70 fast back. I noticed you are out in Disco! My inlaws live out their off New Port so I may have to swing by and check out your ride.

Yeah, I think im leaning towards a candy red. It would probably transition better with dark trim and give it a more "sinister" look that i'm after. I spent all day blocksanding and I cant wait till this stage is done.Kevin, if your in the area stop by, I've got two sanding blocks!

Stang, i'll be watching for updates. I also have a 70 sportsroof I hope to be starting on soon. I am a fan of the tangelo color from HOK. However, the candy would be great, just harder to shoot. I always think about future accidents where i would need to touch up or even repaint. 3 stage paints are harder to match. Well, in my opinion. I am not a professional.

I have a few pics that I attached of the interior ect. that are ready for install. The gauge panel is a Year One piece that was painted. I ditched all the woodgrain and shooting towards a more hightech aluminum theme. The tailamps bezels have been smoothed out and should give a more modern appearance Thanks for the input on paint guys, I am going a candy red. (kevin, I'll pm you with an address)

Cool build. Nice update photos. Make sure you post some more when you get the paint on it.

I'm Curious. Those taillights out of a late model stang?
