I like #5 if it was a little more teardrop like the factory had it. Just me though.... And I'm loopy.

Man, 3 is it! But without the vents. It looks subtle, but in person I think it would really give the car a mean look. It would take some playing with the rear height to really nail it, but I think that would be the perfect option away from a traditional cowl. It just seems so obvious to follow the original hood lines I can believe I have'nt seen it before. My 2 cents.

I like 2, 3, and 8. I think 3 and 8 are just plain sick. not something you see very often. Also I am hoping you will post more about the interior components you are thinking of. I have a 78 and am so glad that the second gens are getting more popular. Means more aftermarket parts.

Thumbs up

Hey Radrambler. I assume that picutre was taken awhile ago. Was the hood fiberglass or steel?
It's funny that you mention the Chevelle cowl hood. I was just in Costco yesterday looking at their selection of Maisto die cast cars and they had a '70 Chevelle. I looked at the hood and thought, hey, that would be a nice option on the second gen Camaro. It's more curvey than the 1st gen cowl hood, so it would be more in keeping with the styling of the body.
