they claimed the car a total loss, and it is. The dash is wrinklied up and the aftermarket subframe pushed threw the floor where i was sitting.
And yes i will keep the car for the salvageable parts. From what i have been told they should replace what i had, but i was trying to have and updated ratrod style nova and the ones with original paint and unmolested are getting harder to find. This car had all latemodel drive train , mini tubbed, tci front clip.......and so on. Everything was replaced except for the paint.
She hit me in the drivers side and i was doing 50-55 mph and it sent me into the telephone pole.

I wouldnt be worried about getting the insurance money if i was hit in my Nova, i would be more worried about the murder charges against me!

Beat them down in court.. sometimes its the only way.

Research what Novas like yours are going for.. you were wronged and you need to be "made whole"

Since it was her fault you should be in a great position legally. The key will be to show what the real-world value of the car was.

And then there's that "pain and suffering" suit

If you have an agreed value policy then your insurance company need to step up and fight the battle for you. They may not want to do this until you apply some pressure
Good Luck..

Dude, cut the guy some major slack, his car is wasted and he's having trouble getting it right.
