Just out of curiousity, what made you spot weld the floors in what looks to be a high powered car, rather than completely weld them in? I would think they would be stronger this way? Maybe it doesnt even matter? I dont know, just looking to learn.

Im going to weld and metal finish the seams on the new floors. Im also going to seam weld the chassis. I think with the roll cage, subframe connectors and seam welding, the chassis will be really stiff.

Default Wilwood Front Brakes

I finally recieved my front Wilwood Brakes after a 2 month wait.. 14" 2 piece rotors, 6 piston polished calipers. I plan on either anodizing or powder coating the calipers blue. Im leaning more towards anodizing the calipers. what do u guys think?

Here is a little update on the stang.. I should be done with most of the metal fab in a few months. I plan on seam welding the entire chassis, welding and metal finishing floor pan seams, redoing(fixing) the shaved drip rails, shaved cowl, smoothed fire wall, ect....... I had a body shop shave the driprails, cowl and firewall a couple years ago. This was before I had any metal fab knowledge. A few day ago I got out my 7" sanderd and decided to see how good of a job the body shop did. The job looked good but I wanted to know what it looked like under the body filler. After sanding the body filler the drip rails didnt look that bad, but I will have to do some more metal fab to get them just right.. As for the cowl and firewall Im just going to cut out the previous work and redo it.

Default rotisserie

Im just about finished with the rotisserie that im fabricating. Ill post some pics within the next few days. Once the rotisserie is complete, I can finish up the chassis metal fab work on the stang. I also finally recieved my rear brakes from Wilwood after a 12 week wait..
