What wheels are you going to use? And are you dead set on black stripes?

Someone is going to totally flame me now I know but, Toyota has a couple of nice different colors on the 2007 and newer Camry's. They have an ice blue and a very light green color, I have no idea what they are called but I think they would look very good on a 67-68 with some stripes. Or the other idea would be to go back and see what original 68 Camaro colors you might like.

No flaming from me...I stopped in at the Toyota dealer to look at blues, hell I looked at every dealership I could find!

I think doing a med-dark green (British Racing Green) would be classic and differant. You could do black stripes and going to a darker center wheel would totally set you appart from the guys at your local car show.

Or if you like to be a bit brighter, look at sport bikes, they tend to have great colors as well.

I prefer German car colors/paint.....

If you like Red, maybe do something different with the stripes. Ghost stripes look cool and you'd stand out from the crowd at the car shows.

Candy colors are cool, but when you get chips, they aren't as easy to touch up. If you do it, make sure you put some of the clear 3m plastic stuff on the parts that are prone to chipping.

I like that Ice Blue a lot. But I think it would need white stripes to really look clean and sharp. The green I'm not so fond of, but it would be different and you wouldn't fit in with all of us running red w/black stripes.

Be sure to let us know what color you end up with. Post a pic of your final selection if you can.

Thumbs up

I like the red/maroon color as well.
I'm not a big fan of stripes, but I think with the "right" color maroon, it would look KILLER!!!!
Good luck man!!!
