Take it easy on those late model sports cars. You`re gonna give them an inferiority complex. Mark SC&C

why do you need a watts link on a triagulate 4 link? if the mounts are good and solid there should be no side to side movement. true?

the reason the watts is such a good addition on a g-bidy is that the bushings arent good and solid.. (unless you runn TRZ upper heims- and they wear like a mo-fo on the street) ans secondly.. and this is the most impuortant part, it keeps the roll center fixed in relation to the center of gravity

the rollcenter on the g-body k-link or triangulated 4 link is at the imaginary point of intersection of the upper controll arms.. somwhere in the trunk... and as the suspension moves up and dowm, even slightly the roll cenyter moves arround many inches... and bushing deflection exacrebates this...

this is why a g-body rear feels like somthing sloshes arround as it settles in the turn.. and the rear feels to have a life of its own when running consecutive turns...

the watts link fixex this, the propeller is frame mounted on a crossmember like on the lateral dynamics rear suspension for 1. gens... it keeps the rear firmly in place and keeps the rollcenter fixed in relation to the c of g, so the rear becomes predictable.. it is also what 79-93 mustangs run when road racing.. with great succes i might add (they are also k-link suspension cars)
