Do not put new lifters on an already run camshaft unless you want to do it again in a very short time. (Not to mention the metal that will be in your engine from the wiped out lobes/lifters)


Best thing to do is call a cam manufacturer and talk to them. They can help you pick the right cam for your combo based on what you want the motor to do. Theyve done it and have the background and resourses to make a better educated decision than most anybody here on this board. (no offense to anyone)


Sorry to hear your having troubles, just look at it as an opportunity to make an improvement now that you have some seat time and a reference point.
