This post is 2 fold.......

First - Car looks great Jody. Wheels look killer - I agree like the silver better. The new valve covers look great also.

Second Sorry to hear about the smoking again. That sucks big time - no pun intended. Hopefully it is nothing major.

Car does look amazing Jody. Nice job

Jody,

The car looks killer. It's really making you work, but you're good at hanging in there and making it come together. We all see what it takes from builds like yours and it better prepares us for the little battles along the way. Enjoy the 'rita!

Jody did you get to drive the car and put the turbo under boost? I'll bet the seal "ring" didn't get all the way seated yet...I hope it's that simple.

Car looks great and the wheels are perfect!!!!

well, that's another issue. Even with the manual boost controller all the way in and the springs in the wastegates at 12 psi, it only shows 10 psi on the gauge. Runs pretty good for 10 psi, but should make way more than that.

I have gone out and flogged it a bit at that boost, and that didn't seem to help, in fact it was after that, that the car started smoking out the drivers pipe. I'll probably go out and beat the living crap out of it tomorrow, because if I gotta pull the engine I've got very little to lose............

The car looks awesome, Jody. I'd love to check it out sometime. It's too bad about the smoking though. And don't worry. I won't be calling the air resources board about your smoking vehicle, so they won't be offering you the $500 for it so they can crush it. But Charley might.
